Terms and Conditions
The agreement between you and Reveally. We have kept it as short and as readable as we can — please read it, because by using Reveally you are agreeing to it.

Agreeing to these terms
These Terms and Conditions are an agreement between you and Reveally ("we", "us", "our"). They apply whenever you use the Reveally website or app — including as a couple with an account, as a clinician entering a result, or as a guest casting a guess.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Reveally. Our Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement.
Who can use Reveally
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating one you confirm that you are, and that the information you give us is true.
A reveal belongs to one account, which a couple is expected to share. Everyone who can sign in to that account has full control of the reveal, including the ability to unlock the result. That is the design, not a bug — but it means you should only share your login with the person you want to find out beside.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
We may suspend or close an account that is being used to break these terms, to harm someone, or in a way that puts the service at risk.
How Reveally works, and what you need to do
Reveally gives you a private code for your clinician and a separate public link for your guests. You are responsible for the difference between them:
- Show the clinician code only at your appointment. Anyone who has it can submit a result for your reveal.
- Your guessing link is safe to share with anyone. It can never read or change the real result.
- Once a result is in, only a deliberate reveal from your account will unlock it. We will never reveal it for you, on a schedule, or by accident.
We are not responsible for a spoiled surprise caused by someone you gave access to, by a device you left unlocked, or by a clinician who tells you the answer out loud.
The result is not medical advice
The result shown in Reveally is whatever your obstetrician, sonographer or other clinician typed into the entry page. We do not verify it, we cannot verify it, and we have no way to know whether it is correct.
Reveally is a keepsake, not a medical record and not a diagnostic tool. Nothing in the app is medical advice, and it is not a substitute for your care team. If the result matters to a decision you are making, confirm it with your clinician.
The guessing link
The guessing page needs no account. Anyone with the link can add a name, a pick and a short message, and everyone with the link can see them.
Guesses and messages are content posted by other people. We do not review them before they appear. You can remove any guess from your own board and close guessing at any time, and we may remove content that breaks these terms.
Your photos, videos and messages
The memories you upload stay yours. You keep every right you had in them. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store, copy and display your content back to you and to anyone you share it with.
You promise that you have the right to upload what you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. When you delete content, we stop displaying it and remove it as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload or post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes someone's rights;
- impersonate someone else, or submit a result you were not asked to submit;
- guess codes, scrape the service, or try to reach a reveal that is not yours;
- interfere with the service, or attempt to break its security; or
- use Reveally to break the law.
Availability and changes to the service
We work hard to keep Reveally running, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may need to take the service down for maintenance.
If we ever discontinue Reveally entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to download your memories first.
Fees
Creating an account and running a reveal is free. If we introduce paid extras, we will tell you the price clearly before you buy anything, and you will never be charged without agreeing to it first.
Our intellectual property
Reveally, its name, logo, design and software are owned by us and protected by law. These terms do not give you any right to use our branding, or to copy, modify or reverse engineer the service.
Consumer guarantees and disclaimers
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a consumer guarantee applies and we fail to meet it, our liability is limited — at our option — to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
Subject to that, Reveally is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be error-free, that the result will be accurate, or that your surprise will survive contact with your family.
Limitation of liability
Subject to the section above, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or opportunity, arising from your use of Reveally.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred Australian dollars, whichever is greater.
Ending this agreement
You can stop using Reveally and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, or if we are required to by law.
The sections that by their nature should survive termination — your content licence for anything still shared, the disclaimers, the limitation of liability, and governing law — survive it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Reveally changes. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and if a change materially affects your rights we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Reveally after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state and the courts able to hear appeals from them.
